Find Your Dog’s Perfect Fit
“Making sure everything fits correctly is important.” Use this guide to
measure accurately and choose the right size for collars, leashes,
walking vests and step-in harnesses.
Choose What You’re Sizing
Collars
Measure the neck and add comfort room for everyday wear.
Leashes
Pick the right length and width for your dog’s size.
Walking Vests
Measure neck and chest to get a comfortable, secure fit.
Step-In Harness
Measure chest girth around the broadest part of the chest.
Collar Sizing Tips
There are no standard sizes for pet clothing and accessories, so we
highly recommend measuring your pet precisely to ensure an accurate fit.
- Measure the circumference of your dog’s neck and add about 2 inches.
- You should be able to slip two fingers comfortably between collar and neck.
- Use a soft tape measure, or string and a ruler if needed.
- Make sure your dog is standing when you measure.
- For broad chests or thick coats, order one size larger.
- If your pet’s measurements fall between sizes, choose the next size up.
Collar Size Guide
| Collar Size | Neck Size |
|---|---|
| XS | 7–11″ |
| S | 10–15″ |
| M | 12–19″ |
| L | 15–24″ |
| XL | 17–29″ |
If your dog is on the upper end of a size range, we suggest choosing
the larger size.
Leash Sizing Tips
Choose a leash width and length that matches your dog’s size and
strength. Smaller dogs are usually more comfortable with lighter,
narrower leashes, while larger dogs benefit from wider, sturdier styles.
Our standard leashes are 5 feet long — ideal for everyday walks, giving
enough freedom while maintaining control.
Leash Size Guide
| Size | Length | Width |
|---|---|---|
| S | 5′ | 5/8″ |
| L | 5′ | 1″ |
Match your leash to your dog’s collar and walking vest for a complete
coordinated look.
Walking Vest Sizing Tips
Accurate measurements help ensure a comfortable, secure fit for your
dog’s Walking Vest.
- Measure comfortably around the neck and the fullest part of the chest.
- Use a soft tape measure, or string and a ruler.
- Make sure your dog is standing when you measure.
- For broad-chested dogs or thick coats, consider one size larger.
- If your dog’s measurements fall between sizes, choose the next size up.
Walking Vest Size Guide
| Size | Girth | Neck |
|---|---|---|
| MINI | 10–12″ | 6–8″ |
| XS | 12–14″ | 7–8″ |
| S | 13–15″ | 9–10″ |
| M | 16–18″ | 12–13″ |
| L | 19–22″ | 14–15″ |
A well-fitted Walking Vest should be snug but not tight, with enough room
for comfortable movement.
Step-In Harness Sizing Tips
For step-in harnesses, chest girth is the most important measurement.
-
Measure chest girth all the way around the broadest part of the chest,
just behind the front legs. - Use a soft tape measure, or string and a ruler.
- Make sure your pet is standing upright.
- If your pet’s measurements fall between sizes, order the next size up.
Step-In Harness Size Guide
| Size | Girth | Strap Width |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 9–15″ | 1/2″ |
| S | 14–21″ | 5/8″ |
| M | 17–24″ | 3/4″ |
| L | 22–30″ | 1″ |
Choosing the right girth size helps keep the harness secure, comfortable
and choke-free.
